Man, I wish I had a really good excuse for not posting here lately - like I was kidnapped or curing AIDS - but no, I just didn't feel like writing.  I was also pretty disenchanted with having a blog where people couldn't comment.  How boring!  Well thanks to Harper, I'm up and running and everything is back to normal.  Mark my words though, if any of you motherfuckers post anything about online poker or penis enhancing tablets I will kill your entire family.  Pet's too!

Wow, ok I feel better now.  I guess a lot has happened in the last 6 weeks or so since I posted last but it's just way too much to try to go over in my insanely wordy writing style.  To cover the bases, I'll just make a list - in no particular order.
  • Went to LA for some meetings and got to hang out on the set of SCRUBS for about 2 hours with Zach Braff, Zach's assistant Ken, Donald Faison and a bunch of the other cast and crew. Awesomeness.
  • Jake, Jacob and I now have a literary agent - look for some books by us in the near(ish) future!
  • We (skinnyCorp) moved into our new 25,000 sq. ft. office which rules school.
  • My youngest kitten, Alabama, had to have surgery because she was chewing on a blanket and swallowed a bunch of crap and got it all stuck in her little kitty guts. She's ok now. (Phew)
  • I judged the Cut & Paste competition in Chicago, which was awesome and not awesome at the same time.
  • Jake and I were featured on "Chicago Tonight" on WTTW in Chicago. We got interviewed by Phil Ponce, who was cool and had small hands. Watch the video here!
  • I'm pretty stoked about going to Magic for my first time in Vegas next February!
  • Jen and I walked out of the movie version of Augusten Burroughs' "Running With Scissors", was pretty underwhelmed by Borat, but am looking forward to seeing Fast Food Nation and A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.
So, that's about it. There's probably more, but I can't remember right now - but we're all caught up! I'll be posting regularly again, so all 4 of you can stop holding your breath now.

Glad to see some activity again - the book thing sounds exciting :)

your blog sucks because you always have to press the "read more" thing. everyone knows you just want more page views.

Cary, I have the "read more" because I'm pretty wordy and I think it's ugly and annoying to have giant posts when people are trying to browse. With a readership of (presumably) closer to 0 than 100, it's safe to assume I'm not that interested in logging as many page views as possible.
